The Bel Air Auxiliary Police is now recruiting new members for their team. We aspire to improve the quality of life in partnership with the community.
The Bel Air Police Department Explorer Post is a volunteer organization through which young people, 14-21 years of age, are trained in many aspects of law enforcement.
As a community service, the Bel Air Police Department conducts security checks for residents, at their request, while they are away from their home for any length of time.
Neighborhood watch is an organized effort by concerned residents to look out for each other's safety, and to help law enforcement officers protect people and their homes against criminals.

Annually, The Bel Air Police Department hosts a Youth Camp for kids ages 8-14. Each Camper learns various jobs that Police Officers do on a daily basis. From Traffic Stops to Crime Scene Investigation, each day is filled full of knowledge, taught by Police Officer and / or Police Explorers. There are three (3) camps held and each camp is 5 days. They run from 9:00 to 1:00 and will be held in the Bel AIr Armory. Camps fill up fast every year and are first come, first served. There is a $100.00 registration fee that includes a camp t-shirt, a gift, Graduation Certificate and a Graduation Ceremony.
