6-week session --Wednesdays, January 24-February 28, 2024.
$80 per person/one hour session. If you wish to take both sessions from 6-7 and 7-8pm, you must register separately for both.

7-8pm Beginner East Coast Swing/Intro to Rumba
The East Coast Swing is a classic dance that is fun, and versatile. It is one of the most popular of all of the swing dances. There are many variations of Swing and this dance is sometimes called by other names including: Jive, Jitterbug, and Lindy Hop. Rumba is sometimes known as the ‘Latin Waltz.' Rumba is danced to music in 4/4 time and the count of the steps is slow-quick-quick.
About the Instructor, Kristen Renshaw
Kristen discovered her passion for ballroom dancing in 2005 after starting at SwingTime Ballroom. She has choreographed countless dances for wedding couples, introduced dozens of people to Ballroom Dancesport competitions, and developed a youth ballroom track for dance students and recreational dancers.

Do I need a partner? No, you do not need a partner to learn the dance. However, when waiting for a practice partner or instructor, please be patient and continue to practice your part.
