This event is being held to highlight the fact that Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) happens to young people in our community every day. SCA doesn’t discriminate, it can happen to anyone, anywhere, at any time just like it did to Bailey. Student athletes has an increased risk of SCA.
This event is made possible due to the collaboration of numerous community organizations that have come together to ensure that as a community we are equipped in responding timely to SCA. You must register for your desired training session in advance.
Facts:
• Thousands of children die every year from sudden cardiac arrest
• Many students who experience sudden cardiac arrest have had wellness exams and or sports physicals
• SCA is reversible if CPR and an AED is used immediately. Untreated, it will lead to sudden cardiac death

The goal is saving lives though SCA education and awareness, public access to defibrillator, volunteer opportunities and scientific research. Bailey’s Heart and Soul foundation is a non-profit organization. However, to enable community events, a $25.00 donation is suggested. You may donate at: Baileysheartandsoul.org
